Annual Congress in La Paz, Bolivia between June 7th and

On
June the 7th we delivered our traditional Stroke Teaching Course,
dedicated to general doctors and non-neurologists, with more that 300
participants and lecturers from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia,
Mexico, Panama, Peru and the special participation of WSO representative Prof
David Spence, from Canada. Simultaneously, there were workshops on
Neurosonology, Vascular Cognitive Impairment and a NIHSS training session.
On
June 8th and 9th the Congress brought together
lecturers from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Panama,

ceremony and delivered interesting lectures in a specially dedicated session.
We
left Bolivia with the clear sense of having contributed to the development of
stroke care in the country, while being very impressed by the multiple
initiatives for stroke care in both the private and in the public system, and
with the huge warmth and hospitality of Dr. Juan Carlos Duran, the leader of
the organizer committee and the people of Bolivia
Next
year we will meet in Gramado, Brazil, between August 1st and 4th.
Please, consider yourself cordially invited!
