Now that we have all had time to reflect on the impact of our World Stroke Day 2018 events, maybe it's time to get a bit of kudos for all your hard work by applying for a World Stroke Day Award.
World Stroke Day Awards are given to organizations and individuals who demonstrate commitment, creativity and impact in adapting and rolling out the key theme of World Stroke Day at national or local level.
On October 29th 2018 WSO focused global attention on the 80 million people living in the world who have survived stroke and the long-term support needs of stroke survivors and caregivers. We achieved enormous reach and couldn't have done it without the hard work of our members and stroke stakeholders around the world.
If you want your campaign to be considered you can apply for an award using the online application form on the World Stroke Campaign website.
Award winners will receive free annual membership of WSO and will be invited to attend a World Stroke Congress Award Ceremony in 2020.
Closing date for applications is 21st December. Award winners will be announced in February 2019.
The International Journal of Stroke is the flagship publication of the World Stroke Organization.
