Health information for stroke survivors, families and carers available in different languages

New: health information available in different languages

The Stroke Association in the UK are proud to announce that it has published translations of its main health guides.

You can now access the Stroke Association's main general guides in South Asian languages, Welsh, and a wide range of European languages. The Stroke Association has translated its most popular general guides to stroke and stroke prevention. These include When you have a stroke, Next steps after a stroke, Supporting a stroke survivor and How to reduce your risk of a stroke.

The European language translations were coordinated by Stroke Alliance for Europe (SAFE). Printed copies of these guides are being distributed in selected hospitals in each country, and you can download PDFs from the Stroke Association website.

How can I access the translations?

You can order print copies, stream audio online, and download PDFs from the Stroke Association website. For a full list of languages and publications, visit its translations web page.
